Why don't you just add to excel an User Form where you can put a text box, the form will have his own close button and all the space you need. After a quick search I found this video on Youtube [this video] that explain how to add a form to an Excel speardsheet.

Having asked the question, I managed to find a solution my self. I will include it as this seems to be a problem without a good answer online. The code is to be used in the example shown in this tutorial: [this video] The code for the Submit button is shown below. This is the code for 9 or 10 returns, but can be adjusted easily Private Sub CommandButton1_Click() Dim ws As Worksheet Set ws = Worksheets("Current") 'Add new row ws.ListObjects("Table1").ListRows.Add (1) 'Populate new row ws.ListObjects("Table1").DataBodyRange(1, 1).Value = Me.name1.Value ws.ListObjects("Table1").DataBodyRange(1, 2).Value = Me.namecom.Value ws.ListObjects("Table1").DataBodyRange(1, 3).Value = Me.cin.Value ws.ListObjec

For tutorials on how to create a basic userform, here is a text tutorial [LINK] and a video tutorial [this video] . Note that on the userform you create, I suggest the following names for the controls: Textbox: txtFind Find button: btnFind Listbox: listResults Once you have your userform with a Textbox that the user can type into for what they want to search for, a Find button, and a Listbox, you would use this code for your Find button: Private Sub btnFind_Click() Dim ws As Worksheet Dim aData As Variant Dim vData As Variant Dim aResults() As Variant Dim lIndex As Long Dim sFind As String Set ws = ActiveWorkbook.ActiveSheet sFind = Me.txtFind.Text Me.listResults.Clear With ws.Range("A2", ws.Cell

If you want to make a userform with checkboxes, create a userform the same way you add a module -> Project window, right click, add UserForm. Then Click on "Toolbox" icon and select a checkbox, which you can locate in the userform. [LINK] Plus some youtube video: [this video] Edit, lets say you have a button and a checkbox in the userform. This is the code in the userform. Name of the button is cmd_Calculator; Name of the checkbox is chb_new Private Sub cmd_Calculator_Click() If Me.chb_new Then MsgBox "Checkbox is selected." Else MsgBox "Checkbox is not selected." End If End Sub
