Sure it's a correlation, in much the same way SAD syndrome more prevalent the further North you go. But some things may well have better papers or links, I was just pointing out what seems to be logical - however - watch this please: [this video] A Doctor who has been doing a fair and most excellent overview with a critical mind upon this whole COVID-19 from early on and focused upon evidence. He covers things in a way that may hold more gravitas to that aspect. One of the many useful reference links from that video that I think covers all this fair and square. [LINK]

I doubt anyone here thinks it's some kind of magic, but if you've been following the pandemic from the beginning, you've probably seen these two doctors who both recommend vitamin D: - Dr. Seheult's: [LINK] - Dr John Campbell: [this video] It's cheap and has minimal downside. Pre-covid it was already known to "reduce symptoms of colds or influenza"[0]. [0] Benefits of Vitamin D Supplementation - Journal of American Physicians and Surgeons [LINK]

He's actually been talking about Vitamin D since April 2020 [0] and discussed the encouraging first clinical trial in September 2020 [1]. There are plenty of published studies on Vitamin D and its effects on Covid. I don't understand why healthcare guidelines don't mention or promote it more. The only reason I've come up with so far is that the pharmaceutical companies don't focus on it since there is no money to be made. Vit. D is basically free (€4 for a year's supply of 20 mcg/day). Without the push and lobbying from Pharma, I guess it doesn't get enough attention? [0] [this video] [1] [LINK]
