That is not what exactly what GCM is for. GCM is primarily for sending data from the cloud to the the devices. You are correct in thinking that one option is to store the data in a database in the cloud. You could use [LINK] free account and build a web app that provides you endpoints which will save and retrieve data to a SQLite db pretty easily (if you have knowledge of python and server side web concepts). Another perhaps simpler option is to use a pre-existing cloud database solution [LINK] is a cloud backend that also has a free-to-use option that you can use to store arbitrary data. It is pretty easy to get up and running if you follow their many nice Android tutorials. One last option

i'm trying to apply a tutorial on youtube about posting some data on a google sheet : [this video] It's really well explained and I did everything same than the guy did, but I don't understand why my app stops... I manage to build it without any problem (I didn't change the layout, I just added the class "HttpRequest"). I don't have any knowledge in java, I just copied the tutorial, here is the code : package com.example.test; import android.app.Activity; import android.os.Bundle; import android.util.Log; import java.net.URLEncoder; public class MainActivity extends Activity { final String myTag = "DocsUpload"; @Override protected void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) { super.onCreate(savedIns

I'm using Eclipse to develop an app. I used this code to submit data from my app to the Google Form. [this video] I was wondering if you can help me with this: I need my app to read a column of data from the Google Form spreadsheet. I've tried looking everywhere for the code, but I can't seem to find it. Do you have any ideas how to implement this? The column I want to read is a list of e-mails submitted from my app, and I just don't want the user to submit to my Google form multiple times!!! So, I need want to know how to read the list of emails from my Google Form. I'm aware there is a Google Document API, but I'm not sure which part should I look at: [LINK]
