What it is
A 23-minute AngularConnect 2015 conference talk by Jeff Whelpley and Patrick Stapleton on running Angular 2 on the server. It covers how Angular Universal lets you build full-stack apps with server-side (isomorphic) rendering.

NOTE: This could all change because Angular 2 is still alpha. There were several good talks at AngularConnect 2015 [LINK] about this. Rendering in WebWorkers [LINK] Universal Rendering is discussed in this talk [this video] In particular, though, you're going to want to checkout Angular Universal [LINK] which is the "Universal" (aka Isomorphic) (aka app primed on the server) rendering method for Angular 2. Also for rendering to React-Native, there is a library growing here [LINK] that has more information about that. I hope that helps. (PS: marked community wiki because the answer is so vague) ;)

Angular 2's server-side rendering isn't replacing a templating engine. Server-side rendering lets you write your Angular 2 code as you normally would (with or without something like jade). The server renders the first page the user will see, so the user isn't looking at a blank page while the javascript loads. This decreases perceived page load times and makes the site more accessible to web crawlers. This video [this video] shows how you would implement server-side rendering in Angular 2. There are some links to starter repos in the comments.

I've developed a web application built using ASP.NET Core Web API and Angular 4 . My module bundler is Web Pack 2 . I would like to make my application crawlable or link sharable by Facebook, Twitter, Google. The url must be the same when some user tries to post my news at Facebook. For example, Jon wants to share a page with url - [LINK] at Facebook, then Jon inserts this link into Facebook: [LINK] . I've seen this tutorial of Angular Universal server side rendering without tag helper [LINK] and would like to make server side rendering. As I use ASP.NET Core Web API and my Angular 4 application does not have any .cshtml views, so I cannot send data from controller to view through ViewData["
