What it is
Part 2 of Corey Schafer's Flask series, a screen-recorded tutorial on Jinja2 templates. It covers rendering HTML from routes, passing data to templates, loops and conditionals, and template inheritance so layout code is reused across pages. It builds a blog app step by step with code on GitHub.

The Goal I'm creating a Flask website to serve as the UI for a custom bioinformatics pipeline. The way I'm trying to design it is such that the user fills in the pipeline parameters (e.g. Project Name, Data Type, Number of Samples, etc.) in a multi-page form (kind of like the checkout process in online ordering) and then I would like these parameters to be saved to the user's account page as separate "posts". The Issue I've been following a Flask Tutorial online ( [this video] ) about how to save the "posts" (pipeline parameters) to the user's dashboard by supplying fake or sample "posts" to the dashboard's html template, but nothing shows up at all. What am I doing wrong? The Source Code routes.

short answer is: you can't, I don't even understand how you thought that would work, you will need to use html and jinja to create a loop in the template, in the html template, create a for loop there using what jinja2 offers, simple stuff really, if you don't know I can suggest you look at this tutorial by Corey Schafer [this video] (link is set to specific time where this is starting to get explained)

I'm new to programming and recently a friend of mine gave me a project to work on in order to get myself familiar with the programming environment and language (python in this particular example). [this video] I used this video as a beginners tutorial to help me understand how i'm supposed to proceed with my personal project. the code i wrote is exactly how it is written in the video, and i get an error. from flask import Flask, render_template app = Flask(__name__) posts = [ { 'author': 'Alon Salzmann', 'title': 'First Post', 'content': 'First post content', 'date posted': 'September 5, 2018' }, { 'author': 'Alon Salzmann', 'title': 'Second Post', 'content': 'Second post content', 'date posted':

I am following a YouTube tutorial for Flask over here: [this video] . I am at the part of the video where the navigation bar code is put into the application, but my website ends up overlapping the previous structure of it.
