I didn't find a generalized answer to it. But if you want a special case and need emails for notification to just yourself then in that case you can use EmailJS . It is a client-side service and you can set a template for your use. You may refer to this video - [this video] But you need to make sure that 'to_parameter' is fixed. So that it is safe. I will update this answer if I find an alternative method.

so i'm trying to send an email in flutter as a background process without having to navigate through the gmail app and i followed this tutorial [this video] and every thing is working except 'onpressed(){}'function on the iconbutton it showes an erorr of 'Local variable 'sendEmail' can't be referenced before it is declared. Try moving the declaration to before the first use, or renaming the local variable so that it doesn't hide a name from an enclosing scope.' with no quick fixes so what seems to be the problem?, i tried initialising it in multiple places but i guess i'm new to these types of funtions. here is my code import 'package:flutter/material.dart'; import 'package:mailer/mailer.dart'; i

I want to get data from Firestore, convert it into csv format, then share it using the user's method of choice (e.g. email). I'm using the csv package [LINK] to convert the data to csv, the path_provider [LINK] to get the directory to write the file to the phone, and the share_plus [LINK] package to share the file. However, when I tap a share method (e.g. Gmail, Outlook, Whatsapp), it opens the right app but then I get a message on the phone like "Unable to attach file" (but there is no error in my app). The file is definitely being written as I can read it and it comes back with the expected string. The ShareResultStatus that is returned by the share is 'successful' Can anyone figure it out
