What it is
A short screencast by Deege that walks through building an iOS share extension in Swift. It builds a small app that picks an image from the photo album and shares it into the main app via the share sheet, covering SLComposeServiceViewController, NSExtensionItem and activation rules.

I used that Tutorial [this video] but impossible to get the selected image in my App. I created with "New/File/Target", then I added a group in the "Capabilities". I can see the share icon when I go to the image gallery, but it does nothing when I click on the button. Code Example: - (BOOL)isContentValid { // Do validation of contentText and/or NSExtensionContext attachments here return YES; } - (void)didSelectPost { // This is called after the user selects Post. Do the upload of contentText and/or NSExtensionContext attachments. // Inform the host that we're done, so it un-blocks its UI. Note: Alternatively you could call super's -didSelectPost, which will similarly complete the extension contex

Thank you very much to all of you that answered to my question. With your answers I realized I have to use a Shared Extension. I have found a really nice video that explains how I have to handle the received information: [this video] . Maybe it could be useful for somewhere in the future.

There are no required build setting changes for any type of iOS extension. However, depending on how you want your app and share extension to interact, there are entitlements and capabilities that you may want to set for your application. You should check out a tutorial. A quick google search gave me these: [LINK] [this video] Also, you don't have to submit builds for review for enterprise distribution.

I am trying to implement a share extension which post an image from PhotoLibrary to my App. But I keeps encountering this error: 2019-01-13 10:57:14.272148-0800 deegeu-swift-share-extensions-image-share[11664:1341769] [default] [ERROR] Failed to determine whether URL /var/mobile/Media/PhotoData/OutgoingTemp/F49538B5-7AD5-46EA-BC0E-CEC304DEEB64/IMG_4293.JPG (s) is managed by a file provider. This is the exact project source code I am trying with: Github Project [LINK] And this is the step I followed closely: Video Tutorial [this video] My system information: iOS 12.1 , iPhone 6s . I have updated project information such as App Group, developer profile to my own in Xcode. What could be the cause?
