In its API Doc [LINK] , it provides one version of URL which returns download link as JSON: [this video] Ok Then we can use urllib2 to call the API and fetch API result, then unserialize with json.loads(), and download mp3 file using urllib2 again. import urllib2 import json r = urllib2.urlopen(' [LINK] [this video] ') content = r.read() # extract download link download_url = json.loads(content)['link'] download_content = urllib2.urlopen(download_url).read() # save downloaded content to file f = open('test.mp3', 'wb') f.write(download_content) f.close() Notice the file should be opened using mode 'wb', otherwise the mp3 file cannot be played correctly. If the file is big, downloading will be a time-co

Although Volley library [LINK] is not recommended for large download or streaming operations, however, I'd like to share my following working sample code. Let's assume we download only MP3 files so I hard-code the extension. And of course, we should check more carefully to avoid exceptions (NullPointer...) such as checking whether headers contain "Content-Disposition" key or not... Hope this helps! Volley Custom class: public class BaseVolleyRequest extends Request<NetworkResponse> { private final Response.Listener<NetworkResponse> mListener; private final Response.ErrorListener mErrorListener; public BaseVolleyRequest(String url, Response.Listener<NetworkResponse> listener, Response.ErrorLi

Oh sorry, I guess the url is relative. I'm using the api from this website: [LINK] try using the json link if you scroll down: [LINK] [this video] this returns a link for download to an mp3 file that I want to put in a zipped folder.

So I have an issue with the Apache Commons IO library, with FileUtils. My code : URL songUrl = new URL(urlToDl); newSon = new File("test.mp3"); FileUtils.copyURLToFile(songUrl, newSon); The problem is that sometimes (it's really random) the mp3 file is actually the HTML page of the site. But sometimes it downloads the mp3 like it should be. How to avoid FileUtils to download HTML page but only mp3 file ? EDIT : so basically I create the download link with their json API : [this video] I take the "link" value and then use FileUtils copy url to file function.

Do you think, that a framefilter would stop, that the iFrame loads ads by its own? The iFrame is like this: . How would I have to modify the iFrame to use the framefilter?
