Build an FM receiver using REDHAWK IDE Sandbox
Why Stack Overflow recommends it
Stack Overflow users link it as the reference walkthrough for building an RTL-SDR FM receiver waveform in REDHAWK, especially when asking about TuneFilterDecimate, RTLTcpSource and missing components.

What it is
A short screencast from the REDHAWK SDR project showing how to build an FM radio receiver in the REDHAWK IDE Sandbox. It chains an RTL-SDR dongle source (via rtl_tcp), TuneFilterDecimate, AmFmPmBasebandDemod and a gain stage to get audio out. The description links the required component repositories.

This video shows the process of doing that using an RTL receiver. This will give you the general idea of what the waveform should look like. [this video] The 1.8.4 TuneFilterDecimate component let's you tune in one of three modes: Normalized, IF, or RF. In your example, you could choose the following. TuneMode=RF, TuningRF=92.5 MHz TuneMode=IF, TuningIF=26.25 MHz TuneMode=Norm, TuningNorm = (26.25 - 26.75 / 83333000) + .5 = 0.494 (A sample rate of 83.333 MHz seems a bit high, so you might want to double check that) When using the RF/IF tune mode, the COL_RF/CHAN_RF keywords must be correct. Tuning using the normalized number does not require these keywords.

I am using version 1.9.0 of the RED HAWK IDE on RedHat 6.3. After install RedHawk I looked at the video [this video] . I tried to run through the example but I notice I am missing a large amount of the components she has like add_const_ff, complex_to, noise_source, vector_sink, medianfilter. Should I have them? Is there a package I am missing? Adding stuff to get the checker to except my question. I tried, then tried. Going to try.

I'm using the component [LINK] called "RTLTcpSource" from Axios to listen using a RTL2820T USB Dongle. The uses port ComplexIQ_Float plots the port data (and FFT) without any problems. The data is obviously there but I'm not able to get any sort of audio out. I've tested it against AudioTestSource component, which gives the desired audio output. I have also used DataWriter to output the audio to a file, and then played it through VLC (which plays fine). I was wondering what sort of adjustments could I make to RTLTcpSource to give it this capability. I have also used the method in this video to try to get an audio output but was not able to play the port data: [this video] I'm using RH 1.84 on Cen

I'm gonna use the TuneFilterDecimate of Redhawk 1.10 to isolate the RDS data stream of WBFM transmissions. I wonder why it transforms a real stream of data in a complex one when it is not required from the elaboration and if it is possible to exploit it to make a frequency shift of the signal from 57kHz to the baseband. I followed this youtube video [this video] to try to build a Fm waveform receiver to hear the audio stream but I heard only a distorted audio voice. Can you suggest me some settings? Thanks for your help.
