Why Mi Yodeya Stack Exchange recommends it

Judaism Stack Exchange (Mi Yodeya) answerers link it as the main one-stop case for Radzyner tekheleth when people ask about arguments for it or how it compares with Murex tekhelet.

What it is

A roughly hour-long presentation by Rabbi Michael S. Bar-Ron, posted by the OhevTorathMoshe channel, arguing that Radziner (cuttlefish-based) tekheleth is the authentic Torah blue and that Murex trunculus dye is actually argaman. It works through the claims of the Ptil Tekhelet organization and tries to rebut them, drawing on the writings of Rabbi Gershon Hanokh Leiner and clips of the common cuttlefish.

To the best of my understanding there is archaeological evidence proving the use of the murex trunculus as an ancient dye, particularly in Israel, because of an ancient murex-dyeing site unearthed near the Temple Mount and an ancient textiled that contains a murex-dyed blue stripe found near Masada. I need a source for this also (can someone help out) but I seem to recall a Gemara or something that mentions the Romans outlawed the use of techeiles by anyone but royalty, and the Romans commonly used the murex trunculus snail, not the cuttlefish, to dye blue clothing. Like everyone else who has answered this question, I strongly recommend watching this YouTube video explaining why the Radziner

There is an interesting documentary regarding the legitimacy of the Radzin Techeiles v.s. the Murex techeles presented by R' Michael Shlomo Bar-Ron. He is a strong supporter of the Radzin Techeiles being authentic. His presentation can be seen here [this video] . Additionally if you are interested in looking at arguments against the Murex as being the Chilazon. Rav Shlomo Miller [LINK] has a Teshuva [LINK] (with a write up by Dr. Mendel Singer) against the idea that the Murex is the Chilazon which Chazal spoke of. Hope this can be helpful.

That question is answered very well on YouTube "Radziner Vs. Murex Tekheleth, The Truth!". Murex is Argaman not techalet. Buy the cheaper and go Darg or cuttlefish. A snail is not a fish or does not swim or have fins. So the Radzinger version is obviously right, but watch the Youtube. This is a good comparison. This video [this video] is pretty good for learning about Radzyn tekhelet, and in it the speaker explains the process.
