Based on this [this video] tutorial I came up with this markup which works: <Button Text="Note Availability" CommandParameter="{Binding Source={RelativeSource AncestorType={x:Type model:OpenJob}}}" Command="{Binding Source={RelativeSource AncestorType={x:Type viewmodel:OpenJobsDetailViewModel}}, Path=NoteAvailabilityCommand }"/>

@Andy I am following the instructions from this video: [this video] I believe it binds the button to the viewmodel allowing it to access the NoteAvailablityAsync command

I started with looking at James Montemagno course on get started with Maui; [this video] In his MonkeyFinder app I can start with the solution in Part 2 and just change the name of the monkey to a longer name and add a LineBreakMode to get this error. I will see how to file an issue. Thanks for your time!

There is a DetailsPage.xaml that is navigated to using await Shell.Current.GoToAsync( nameof( DetailsPage ), true, new Dictionary<string, object> { {"Monkey", monkey } } ); I'm able to add a Flyout Menu to the MainPage.xaml using AppShell.xaml. How do I add Flyout Menu for a ContentPage other than MainPage.xaml that uses Shell? <FlyoutItem Title="Dashboard" FlyoutDisplayOptions="AsMultipleItems"> <ShellContent Title="Dashboard" ContentTemplate="{DataTemplate view:MainPage}" Route="MainPage" Icon="dotnet_bot.svg" /> <ShellContent Title="Profile" ContentTemplate="{DataTemplate view:ProfilePage}" Route="ProfilePage" Icon="dotnet_bot.svg" /
