I would recommend using size classes and Autolayout. This type of thing is exactly what they are made for. This youtube video is a great introduction to size classes and some Autolayout: [this video]

There's a pretty good tutorials here (1 YouTube, 1 web) on autolayout: [this video] [LINK] In regards to your image size, if you have a base size for a nonRetina, then you @2x for retina and @3x for the full iOS 7/iOS 8 designs. If already sizing for retina than make one for @1.5x. You can also have the @1.5x used for the smaller size if you just give 1 image.

From my learning, I felt the same because its hard to learn and understand AutoLayout for first time. Here is the lot of advantages using AutoLayout Advantages Future iOS Versions going to support auto layout It will save you lot of your time when ever new version of OS get released Using Multiple StoryBoard You need to maintain for each screen which is clearly hassle if you want to change anything in your View. It will eat lot of your time to fixing and much more Spend little time in AutoLayout . Its not that hard to learn. Auto Layout [LINK] Size Class Explanation [this video] I am sure above link will help for all beginners.

No it's not an option, when you switch size class for storyboard, you can drop new button for example that will only show up in that particular size class. See tutorial [this video] rewind to 7:55

Whoo Hooo!!! I figured it out!!! @nburk, I want to give you some credit too. You said the key words trailing space and leading space so I googled more on that, and I was seeing the wrong thing. I want to recommend this to all users who are having problems with it. I didn't realize that dragging the constraints using the control button would actually do it. [this video] Bill.

I guess the only way to help you is to suggest you grabbing a good auto-layout tutorial. I guess this one is perfect in your case: [this video] Hope you will get a better understanding of using auto-layout. Nevertheless if you want some immediate tips, here are some. Remember that I can only guess how the appearance should look like on other screen, it all depends on your vision: 1)Set the trailing space and leading space to superview for the blue rectangle. Don't forget to pin it on the top as well 2) Set leading space for YT and FB buttons, the first should be pinned to the blue rectangle while the latter should be pinned to the bottom of subview. 3) Do the analogy with yellow and green one, bu

Thank you so much!! I also found this video extremely helpful. [this video] Again, I really appreciate the help :)

As suggested by others, you should consider using the Auto-layout feature if you plan on constructing your views using the IB. Here are some tutorial links: RayWenderlich.com Part One [LINK] [this video] This one covers a bit of size clases Hope they help. UPDATED: I've read your updated post, you need to add width and height constraints. The view you see in the IB right now is 600 by 600 points, and the simulator one is smaller, which means that if you leave it as is, when you run the app you'll only see what the iphone screen has the capacity to show. You need to add more constraints than what you used, try defining an equal width for the buttons, and assign the left one a left margin constrain
