If you are using auto layout then this two will help you place you control in center for all the view different size of devices. simple: [LINK] Advance: [this video] Apple has removed this feature as there are 4 different size of devices only for iphone and it would be difficult to set frame for all controller and will increase the length of code and will become a tedious task as it check's the size of device and then set frame so in XCode 6.0.1 we need to use auto layout + size class and prepare our view based on the constraints set in storyboard or Xib. Hope the above link's will help in solving your problem.

From my learning, I felt the same because its hard to learn and understand AutoLayout for first time. Here is the lot of advantages using AutoLayout Advantages Future iOS Versions going to support auto layout It will save you lot of your time when ever new version of OS get released Using Multiple StoryBoard You need to maintain for each screen which is clearly hassle if you want to change anything in your View. It will eat lot of your time to fixing and much more Spend little time in AutoLayout . Its not that hard to learn. You are using size classes so have to set vertical and horizontal spacing. In Universal Storyboard there are option "Any Width Any height" and "add new alignment constraints" See this link. [this video]

Watch this video and get familiar with Auto-Layout. [this video] Letting Xcode use "suggested constraints" is nearly always useless and won't work like you expect. So you'll either need to position all of your elements programmatically by changing their frame, or, you need to set up proper auto-layout constraints.

Try buttonName.center = self.view!.center You may not need autolayout, but if you have to, try this video [this video]

I think the best way to do so is to use a CollectionView. Applying constraints to 9 imagesviews will harder but if you want to apply contraints you can watch this video [this video]

Hi what you need to do is set labels height, width, leading and tailing and make label center X and Y. What happens when give leading, top, trailing, bottom is when you run your application it will keep distance as it is so you view will get stretched. If you want to use any of leading, top, trailing, bottom you need to give bottom space '>=' it increase bottom spacing from superview. The simple and easy solution is to make is centerX and centerY from superview. It will place view exactly in center of screen or view. Fou Study purpose visit: simple: [LINK] Advance: [this video] As you can see I've just set centerX,centerY,width, height, leading and trailing space.
