The dude auditing my initial answer didn't believe in it because it was just a link. So here I've copied the instructions from that project and used the link as supplementary. There is an open source project called auto-py-to-exe on GitHub [LINK] . Actually it also just uses PyInstaller internally but since it is has a simple GUI that controls PyInstaller it may be a comfortable alternative. It can also output a standalone file in contrast to other solutions. They also provide a video [this video] showing how to set it up. GUI: [LINK] Output: [LINK] Alternatively use pyinstaller directly: pip install pyinstaller pyinstaller filename

So I understand fully, you modified your folder names to remove the spaces, which fixed the ValueError but the primary issue persists? Here's a suggestion - go to this link, check out the video and download this guy's py to exe program. It makes creating an exe from a .py file a breeze and may be able to solve your problem. [this video] I use this program on a regular basis to build my exe and it is very reliable. If you have questions on it, let me know or even message the developer through his youtube channel or on GitHub. He's actually fairly quick to respond.

All credits to [this video] If you are unable to run the pip command, follow this guide: Download this zip: [LINK] Extarct the zip file. In the cmd, browse to the main folder of the program, in my case C:\Program Files\auto py to exe: cd C:\Program Files\auto py to exe Install the repository using this command (continue in the cmd): pip install -r requirements.txt When finished, run the run.py file from the same folder or just type in the cmd: (Tip: Create a shortcut for this file to the desktop for future usage!) python run.py An "Auto Py To Exe" GUI should appear in the screen. Select your .py file or paste the path on "Script Location" Select One File mode. If you are using a GUI like Tkinter,

Here i will tell you a better way to make .py to .exe . First make sure your python is added to system PATH, which i assume is. If not check some tutorials on how to add python to PATH then you can open your cmd and type in: pip install pyinstaller After this, you go to your path where the LunchOrder.py exists and open a cmd there, in windows you can type simply type in cmd in the address bar (after clearing adressbar), or else open a cmd and navigate to your path where LunchOrder.py file exists and simply type in: pyinstaller -w -F -i "app.ico" LunchOrder.py This should make a folder dist inside which your .exe will be there. MAKE SURE TO COPY THE .exe to outside the dist folder and run it

This may not be an issue with your code. As @adenosinetp10 suggested, try using a different compiler. I would suggest auto-py-to-exe [LINK] . It uses pyinstaller but gives a gui to make the process easier. Try this tutorial [this video]

The exe file is only for Photoshop for some reason. You got me thinking tho, so I turned the .py file into an exe file using this video [this video] However, this did not work either... It had the same "Run Adobe/Discord" (cannot find the software) problem. Also I noticed that the title of the command prompt while running the original .py file leads to C:\Windows\py.exe WHICH IS AN EXE FILE. But when I run that one, it doesn't work either. I am very confused right now...

I'm using a tool to convert my python files to .exe files. You can find the tool in this video py to .exe [this video] . Now when I convert this code, everything is fine: width = float(input("Enter the width: ")) height = float(input("Enter the height: ")) area = width * height print("The area is", area, "square units.") But whenever I add a line of code with the PyAutoGUI module in it the .exe file instantly closes and does nothing. example: width = float(input("Enter the width: ")) pyautogui.moveTo(492, 106, 0.2) height = float(input("Enter the height: ")) area = width * height print("The area is", area, "square units.") How can I prevent the .exe file from closing and why the PyAutoGUI code is
