Why Stack Overflow recommends it

Stack Overflow users link it as an overview of how Flutter works internally, especially its build and layout model and why that keeps performance good.

What it is

A 2017 Strange Loop conference talk by Eric Seidel, who leads the Flutter team at Google. He explains the architectural choices behind Flutter, including the Dart language, a functional-reactive widget framework, composition over inheritance, and stateful hot reload.

I'd recommend starting with this developer conference explaining briefly how flutter operates [this video] Then learning about runtime apis and packages. Some low level kernel knowledge would be recommended to understand the topic thoroughly because all engines eventually communicate directly with the device OS, some even use hardware functionality directly without any third party interference. I don't know if you know what you're signing up for when diving into this topics but I wish you good luck. An upvote would be welcome ;)

Does the InheritedWidget pass the data to its children with the build walkthrough which is explained in this video [this video] ? Or how does it work? And how good is the performance? Because I realised that it's only possible to get information from the InheritedWidget in the build method and when the dependencies are changing.

I wouldn't worry too much about performance Flutter is designed to use simple algorithms to achieve 60 fps 1 pass layout composition O(n) Separated layout and painting Children tell the parent to invalidate the subtrees etc. [this video] [LINK] [LINK] [LINK] I cannot say the all the performance implications but it shouldnt matter.
