I'm sorry but I don't think there is a way to create plugins for the chrome iOS application. Because ... The user has no way to organize these plugins in the application. The mobile app is very different from the full computer application, smaller, and doesn't need to have the capabilities of the full computer application. There isn't a way to adjust the browser settings. You can't download certain file types from a mobile browser. I think downloading these plugins to the device would be against apples policies, because there not approved by apple If it would ever work, google would have to offer them all in one application or have in app purchases Unless you jail-brake and download the full

No, because that would remove the iOS devices owners last link. They could lose their link. The only way you will have the same tab opened on Safari is that if the 8 (max number) tabs are opened, then you url will indeed open on the 8th tab on safari even if it is already opened. There are free web browser tutorials out there, if you want more control, why not just create your own browser. I am completely new to Xcode and iOS developing in general. Basically I have a task of making a simple browser application for the iPad/iPhone/iPod. This browser application will only be able to access a single specific website. I have found many tutorials for making browsers in Xcode. For example, this one: [this video] However, there are a few requirements that I need that are not included in the tutorial: The browser needs to have a unique identifier. I need a way for that specific website to detect that this browser is unique to itself (and not Firefox, Safari, etc). Is there any way to set a unique ID for the browser that I am going to make? The browser needs to open up automatically at a ce

I am writing a web browser app using UIWebView. I want to be able to save the current URL to a database, just like a bookmark. I have created the standard web browser app such as [this video] . Any help please with how I can extract the URL address of the current web view. The goal is to have the URL and a user-given name added to a database using CoreData. The "bookmarks" can then be displayed in a UITableView. I have read many similar SO questions but none of the solutions are quite what I am trying to do. Thank you.
