Upload and Retrieve From Database! (Firebase : Swift 2 in Xcode)
Why Stack Overflow recommends it
Stack Overflow users link it as the tutorial they followed when first wiring an iOS app to Firebase, and then cite it when their code hits errors or they need to go beyond saving and loading, such as deleting data.

What it is
A 2016 Swift 2 tutorial for Xcode by Jared Davidson (Archetapp) showing how to write data to and read data from the Firebase Realtime Database in an iOS app. The description notes that Swift 3 changed the syntax, though the underlying logic stays the same.

Take a look here, they have own sample. You have to modify them for you. [LINK] [LINK] Or Better, don't go for it directly. I tried it for analytics. Finally, i figured it out. import firebase is not working anymore. Hope the documentation is not updated properly. Anyone should directly integrate Firebase to your project. This is my first time ever using firebase, what I am trying to do is recall the 4 values stored in the database to individual strings heres the code and what my database looks like. I have enabled read and write in the database. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have gotten some code from here Type 'Any' has no subscript members (firebase) [LINK] and have been following a tutorial that stores data in a array [this video] but so far I have been unsuccessful. Thanks [LINK] import UIKit import Firebase import FirebaseDatabase class ViewController: UIViewController { @IBOutlet var Silver: UILabel! @IBOutlet var Aqua: UILabel! @IBOutlet var Orange: UILabel! @IBOutlet var Purple: UILabel! @IBAct

Hi i have followed this tutorial: [this video] This explains how to save and retrieve from the database, but not how to delete. I am wondering how to delete the database node that belongs to the cell that is being deleted. Thanks

I have an iOS app that I use for image recognition augmented reality, specifically it's used for art exhibitions. I want to be able to include all of the previous assets/scenes from previous exhibitions into the app, but the problem with that is - the app would be tremendously large . I'm pretty low level into coding - I've tried implementing On Demand Resources with no luck and decided to move towards Firebase. I've seen a good amount of references for using Firebase for tableviews, images, and text; but very little that has to do with 3D SceneKit files . As I said, I am pretty low level so it is difficult for me to translate the former references into a format that works for SceneKit. If a

I have been Searching for 2 days on the internet now, and no sign of this. All i want to do is to take a value from RealTimeDataBase and put it in my label, apparently i can't find an answer and the people in youtube do it in a TableViewController. I tried some code but it doesn't work: my code: struct mylist { let title : String! } var ref: DatabaseReference? @IBOutlet var LabelTest: UILabel! var posts = [mylist]() @IBAction func nextTapped(_ sender: Any) { // // let ref = Database.database().reference() ref.child("ServiceA").queryOrderedByKey().observeSingleEvent(of: .value, with: { DataSnapshot in let value = DataSnapshot.value as? NSDictionary let title = value?["ServiceA"] as? String se
