What it is
A nearly eight-hour hands-on tutorial from Dapp University that walks through building an ERC-20 token and a token sale (ICO-style) dapp on Ethereum. It uses Solidity, Truffle and Ganache for the contracts and tests, and a JavaScript front end that connects to the chain through web3 and MetaMask.

Any special reason for doing the way you have shown?

I am currently following the tutorial in Dapp University YouTube channel where I am coding my own ERC-20 token [this video] . At 5:51:00 onwards you can see that in his webpage "Your Account" is displaying the address of Ganache(local blockchain). But in my code Account is displaying NULL as you can see printed in console. Also my webpage is always at the loading stage so content.show() never works. And then this error pops up as you can see from the screenshot: Uncaught (in promise) TypeError: Cannot convert undefined or null to object at Function.keys (<anonymous>) at Object.merge (truffle-contract.min.js:1) at TruffleContract.balanceOf (truffle-contract.min.js:1) at app.js:106 [LINK] This is m

So I am new to solidity and following this tutorial - Code Your Own Cryptocurrency [this video] . And I am running some tests on truffle and I have two failed tests not sure why- The first is to make sure that the contract allocates the tokens to the correct admin address. To make a transfer function. Here is my solidity - contract WhiteCrypto{ //Token id string public name = "White Crypto"; string public symbol = "WHC"; string public standard = "White Crypto v1.0"; uint256 public totalSupply; event Transfer( address indexed _from, address indexed _to, uint256 _value ); mapping(address => uint256) public balanceOf; function WhiteCryptoFunction (uint256 _initialSupply) public { balanceOf[msg.sende
