Why Stack Overflow recommends it

What it is
A 15-minute Android tutorial by CodingWithMitch showing how to add an OnClickListener to RecyclerView items and open a new activity that displays an image in an ImageView and text in a TextView. The description warns it is not the best-practice approach and points to a follow-up video.
