This is awesome as hell, haven't seen that one yet. I love that cracktros/demos are still a thing. A cracktro a day keeps the slop away. If you like that one, you'd probably dig this. I feel like this is one of the best demos of all time from both a technical point of view plus storytelling. Dropped back in 2019. Warms my heart. The Black Lotus - Eon: [this video]

Vampire V4 SA (coming 2019/Q3) ------ There is a new Amiga being developed. It is an accelerator board with a brand new 68080 processor. The thing is, it being FPGA, it actually doesn't need to be hosted in an actual Amiga any more. Therefore they are planning to make a standalone, essentially new Amiga. Certainly! Here are some of my personal favorites from recent years. These all run on a stock A500 (with the ubiquitous trapdoor memory expansion). [this video] [LINK] [LINK] [LINK]

I use the same trick today! I have some "benchmark" macros set up which forcibly override the background color when I want to see where in the frame my operations are taking place. > Didn't know there were people still trying to squeeze more out of that chipset nowadays. You will be amazed. The demoscene has gotten insanely good since around 2017.
