What it is

A beginner-friendly full-stack course from freeCodeCamp, built by The Stoic Programmers, that walks through creating a todo app with PostgreSQL, Express, React and Node.js. It covers database setup, REST routes, and building the React components for adding, listing, editing and deleting todos.

I'm not sure what the best option is, but the best one I've determined is to use jwt authentication, as per: This PERN tutorial by Henry at FreeCodeCamp [this video] and then combine it with this Firebase Auth tutorial by Maksim Ivanov [LINK] (and also remove the cookies and csurf functionality that Maksim introduced). Apparently Safari don't allow 3rd party cookies [LINK] , which makes it very difficult to use cookies for authentication between servers. There are workaround provided in the other responses in that link, although they all seem a bit convoluted to me. I've also seen a post on Stack [LINK] suggesting that CSRF wasn't required if using with Firebase Auth, since it has implicit CSRF p

localhost:3000/ > Pern Todo List > type something and click Add got a bug for some reason I use POST request from react app add button it should be add in whatever I type in, but I got null instead in Postman when using Get request I am new to React & PostgreSQL so I don't know if I got the code right or not cause When I use Postman the Post, Delete, Get is fine but when I use Client for React App, I got this Bug: bug "description": null in Postman [ { "todo_id": 1, "description": "I need to go to work" }, { "todo_id": 2, "description": "Hello meh!" }, { "todo_id": 4, "description": "I need to go to the zoo" }, { "todo_id": 5, "description": null }, // For client Folder npx create-react-app

I have made a basic todo list React app (PERN stack), and can run it locally on my computer. I have not added any files (docker or web config) aside from a client folder and server(frontend) folder(backend) following this tutorial Youtube: [this video] Github code: [LINK] I am now uploading this application onto an Azure Web app, via a GitHub repository linked onto VS code. Deployment goes fine, but the site does not run properly. Here are the errors I am receiving from Azure's end enter image description here [LINK] enter image description here [LINK] What node modules or other things could I be missing? Thanks

Cites Elco · 2022-10 · Stack Overflow · on “Postman not working with PostgreSQL, but Postgres CLI works fine”

so I just recently started learning Postgres, and am currently following a course on youtube for the PERN stack, link to the video: [this video] Now, I git cloned this guy's repository, created my user, changed the db.js file, started the server, and when I try to insert some data, or do a get request with postman, it just says sending request... forever. I have installed Postgres on my laptop, and when I try to insert data into a table from the terminal or display the inserted data by typing the SELECT * FROM todo; command, it works fine, but postman doesn't work at all. Does anyone have any idea as to why it is not working? I'm on Linux Mint if that might be relatable.
