Critical jsprogrammer · 2016-07 · on “Reddit now tracks all outbound link clicks by default, existing users opted in”

It is all kinds of shady. The policy says that if material changes are made to the policy, special notice, including sending notifications, will be made. As I noted, even the policy change announcement does not include a mention of this material change. Why is this feature being prioritized and snuck in, while the most significant announcement from their last raise (that users will receive 10% of the raise) seems to have been all but forgotten? It really puts this interview with Steve in some context: [this video]

Critical EJTH · 2016-11 · on “Reddit’s CEO edited comments that criticized him”

Eh. Not exactly the personality fit for running a comminity site such as reddit: [this video] Pretty obnoxious person to be honest.

Critical patrickk · 2016-11 · on “Deleting the golang subreddit”

His offhand remark about knowing people's interests showed a real lack of judgement as well (even if he was 100% not serious the reaction from the interviewer is telling): [LINK] Link to relevant video section: [this video]

Critical bluegreyred · 2018-10 · on “The Growth of Reddit”

Reminds me of this: [this video] "We know all of your interests. Not just your interests you are willing to declare publicly on Facebook – we know your dark secrets, we know everything… (laughs)"
