I've been following a video tutorial ( [this video] ) on how to create a website that loads menus through AJAX. This is great, except I'd like the URLs to change so that the user has something to link to, and can also use the back and forward buttons on their browser properly. How can this be achieved (hopefully so that it's compatible with what I've already been working on)? Fiddle: [LINK] HTML: <body> <ul id="nav"> <li><a href="index">Home</a></li> <li><a href="about">About Us</a></li> <li><a href="contact">Contact</a></li> </ul> <div id="content"> <h1>Content</h1> </div> <script></script> </body> CSS body{ background-color: aqua; } ul#nav { list-style:none; padding:0; margin: 0 0 10px 0; } ul#

I need to create a website with an audio player that plays as users traverse through the site. At the same time, the content section needs to fade out and back in while this is still going on. So bring in another piece of HTML without reloading the page. The question I have is, how can i get all those to run correctly, while at the same time, running different Jquery plugins on different pages? Essentially, I need to website to run like this one but with a continuous audio player in the corner or something. [LINK] If you notice, the page never reloads and the name of the actual file doesnt display on the browser top. This gives me the idea thats its using PHP for the page. So with that idea,

I've been beating my brain trying to figure out why this won't work. The initial page loaded content does load up just fine, but clicking the menu links does nothing at all. It won't load the pages. Hovering over the menu links shows the correct content url, but clicking them does nothing. Here is the test site. menu link 1 and menu link 2 are the test links. The content will load up in the main content div: brandonbutler.com/alex/ I got the code from this tutorial [this video] . Here is the code I'm using: $(document).ready(function() { // initial page load $('#main').load('toc-content/landing.html'); // handle menu click $('ul#keepcolors li a').click(function(){ var page = $(this).attr('href');

I'm trying to figure out why my JS files (script files) aren't loading when i load external content into my DIV with the id of content. I get the HTML and CSS but somehow the scripts doesn't load. My index page (with head, body etc.. including scripts and css links) is showing on page load (inside #content DIV). What am i doing wrong here? What would be the easiest way to include my script files on all my external pages which loads into my #content div? Sample code to get a better picture of the problem situation: <a href="Link1">Link1</a> <a href="Link2">Link2</a> <nav> <div class="name">Erik</div> <a class="btn btn-1 btn-1a about" href="about" id="aboutbtn">About me</a> </nav> <div id="con

First of all, Behance uses Ngnix. Second, If you want to create a real-time web application you need to do it with NodeJS and Express or any framework based on NodeJS. But there is an alternative, which is Ajax. So using ajax will helps you to load contents on your website in each couple of seconds or load a part of your page. See: [this video]
