President Trump: How & Why...
Why Hacker News recommends it
Shared after the 2016 election and later as a pithy account of why Trump won and why political division needs to be moved past.
What it is
Jonathan Pie delivers a satirical rant just after the 2016 US election, blaming the political and media establishment for the rise of Trump. It is a short, profane monologue in character as a frustrated reporter.

As a Democrat-voting libertarian with very Republican family, I think Jonathan Pie encapsulated it perfectly just a few days after the election: [this video] The truly sad part is that the Democratic party seemingly hasn't learned anything in the last four years, and are well on their way to dooming us to another four years of Trump.

...I feel like I need to keep adding a disclaimer that I'm not a Trump supporter... Please don't, it does not add anything to the discourse. It does not matter whether you support him or not when pointing out facts (or fallacies, for that matter). Having to add disclaimers all the time is a damper on any discussion and as such should be avoided. Those who lack the wisdom to separate their personal opinion on people who support a certain policy or person from the merits of what those people say need to take a gander at the following rant: President Trump: How & Why... Exactly. Blocking sites doesn't solve the issues, if anything it makes things worse. We need to be able to respectfully debate people we disagree with, not shut them out. This video pretty much outlines what I think about the recent US election and how I think we should look to move on from it: [this video]
