Thanks, that is actually the first tutorial I read. Usually vogella is a great sure. But I failed at it this time. Another one was this: [this video]

IMO removing local branch is not required. I suggest first to pull the remote changes to local Branch A. Resolve any conflicts while pulling the changes if any. Refer this video [this video] Add your changes to Git staging area just by dragging the the files from unstaged area to staged area refer pic below. Click on commit button, then push the changed to remote branch. After doing this Branch A will be clean, then you can switch to Branch B just by double clicking on it or by right clicking on the repository node and selecting Switch to option in Git repository view . Also I suggest to use the latest stable Egit plugin from here [LINK]

After solving the merge conflicts right click on the project go to Team > Add to Index then add all the files then commit. Refer this video [this video] .

I been trying to follow this tutorial on using Eclipse and GITHUB when multiple people are writing within the same project using branches. I believe I understand everything and how its working.. HOWEVER.. my hash isn't updating like the video is showing on local branches. [this video] If you look at minute 3:50 - 3:60 you will see him do a COMMIT and it will then update on the local branch and generates a new HASH etc...(text in grey next to ChangeDefaults in the video) My Eclipse won't freaking do this. I make a change exactly like he does, I do a commit, but my Hash's and comment text (all the text in GREY) don't update or change at all. They same the exact same as it was before and I'm not see
