To see how navigation-based applications work, it would be suggestible to choose view-based application instead and work from there. I would also suggest watching: Navigation & Tab Bar Controllers [this video]

This is my first post on SO, so hi! I'm new to Xcode and Obj-C too so don't be too harsh. I am following the demo from Standford University [this video] For some reason i've hit an error. Rather than starting from scratch i'd prefer to figure out where I have gone wrong. Ok so here goes. I have two view controllers and i'm currently learning about push and pop. My first view controllers (firstViewController.h) header: #import <UIKit/UIKit.h> @interface FirstViewController : UIViewController { } - (IBAction)pushViewController:(id)sender; @end Then initially this was set up in the implementation file (firstViewController.m), like this #import "firstViewController.h" @implementation FirstViewControl

i tried to follow this tutorial: [this video] around 00:39:00. Theres a counter which recognizes every switch to the second view controller and counts it. The number of view switches should be shown on the second view controller. But it doesn't work, thats the code: Test2ViewController.h @interface Test2ViewController : UIViewController <UITextFieldDelegate> { UINavigationController *navController; Test21ViewController *test21View; NSString *text; IBOutlet UITextField *textField1; } @property(nonatomic, retain) UITextField *textField1; @property (nonatomic, retain) UINavigationController *navController; @property (copy) NSString *text; -(IBAction)pushViewController:(id)sender; @end Test2ViewContr

I'm developing an iOS app which opens many url's in a developed web browser. Instead of setting a view for each of the links, I've decided to create a global NSString variable containing the url to set on the browser's url code each time a button is pressed so the view with the browser is called and the URL is set. I've used as reference the Stanford's tutorial about passing data [this video] but when building the browser doesn't loads the web page. on the other hand, if I take the variable and define it within the view did load method it does take the url... This is my 1st view's header.. #import <UIKit/UIKit.h> #import "MenuMailController.h" // <------ I imported the header from the second view
