This error pops every time I write the code for pipe spawn Assets\spawn.cs(1,30): error CS0234: The type or namespace name 'Dataflow' does not exist in the namespace 'System.Threading.Tasks' (are you missing an assembly reference?) Here is the code for spawn.cs: using System.Threading.Tasks.Dataflow; using System.Collections; using System.Collections.Generic; using UnityEngine; public class spawn : MonoBehaviour { // Start is called before the first frame update public GameObject prefab; void Start() { } // Update is called once per frame void Update() { Instantiate(prefab, new Vector3(0, 0, 0), new Vector3(0, 0, 0)); } } For context I'm following this tutorial : yt video [this video] I'm expecti

So, I was following a tutorial on unity and things were going fine but then I got the error 'Assets\PipeSpawnScript.cs(26,18): warning CS8321: The local function 'spawnPipe' is declared but never used' and I can't seem to figure it out what to do, I checked the code and compared it to the code in the tutorial but it was the exact same, here's the code: using System.Collections; using System.Collections.Generic; using UnityEngine; public class PipeSpawnScript : MonoBehaviour { public GameObject pipe; public float spawnRate = 2; private float timer = 0; // Start is called before the first frame update void Start() { void spawnPipe(); } // Update is called once per frame void Update() { if (tim

I'm following a tutorial [this video] to learn how to use unity, but at the "Logic and UI" part I had issues implementing text. In order for a score to be shown at the top right of my screen, I have to make the text size very small, therefore only being able to use a small font size (ca. 12), which results in a awful quality. I do not understand why my sprite (800 x 800) fits nicely into the frame, but the font needs to be tiny. Considering that under Game, I have 1920x1080 selected and the bird sprite fits, I was expecting the text box to be able to be larger than 10x10 even if it was only ment for the top right. (And a simialr font size as in the tutorial [abt. 111]) Text settings (Text poor qu

@GuyIncognito, I'm new so I don't know what the difference is. All I know is that in this tutorial [this video] he uses Legacy Text and when I try TextMeshPro, I can't reference the Text in my Script.

Context :I am trying to make the game Flappy Bird on Unity. This is my first time using and game creating engine and my first time using C#. GitHub repo: [LINK] Here is the tutorial I am following: [this video] Problem :I am trying to make a trigger so when the bird goes through the pipes it gives the player a point. But this is not working. My Code (Only files that are needed to solve this problem) LogicManager.cs using UnityEngine; using System.Collections; using System.Collections.Generic; using UnityEngine; using UnityEngine.UI; public class LogicManager : MonoBehaviour { // Start is called once before the first execution of Update after the MonoBehaviour is created public int playerScore; pu
