What it is

A 2021 screencast by Jeff Heaton showing how to set up TensorFlow 2.5, Keras and Python 3.9 on an Apple Silicon (M1) Mac. It walks through installing Homebrew, Miniforge instead of Anaconda, Jupyter and the TensorFlow Metal packages so the GPU and Neural Engine get used.

@MR.Robot Yes, evidently you cannot use your system python and you are forced to use miniconda. I was trying to avoid that, but in the end I decided to just do the easiest thing. I followed this tutorial and got it to work: [this video]

Thank you very much for the help! I solved the problem for now using this guide: [this video] Firstly, I uninstalled conda and homebrew on my computer and then installed miniforge. It works for now at least!

According to Jeff, the command should respond with something similar to: /opt/homebrew/Caskroom/miniforge/base/bin/python when typing in which python in the terminal However, mine is /Users/kamingleung/opt/anaconda3/bin/python . I tried to change directory by doing cd opt/homebrew/Caskroom/miniforge/base . The terminal shows that zsh: no such file or directory: cd: no such file or directory: opt/homebrew/Caskroom/miniforge/base Can anyone please tell me how I can fix this problem and have the correct pyt
