What it is

A short screen-recorded tutorial showing how to install a current GCC toolchain on Windows 10 using MSYS2 and pacman, including the MinGW-w64 gcc, make and gdb packages. It finishes by writing, compiling and running a simple C++ hello world program.

SOLVED. It was compiler issue after all. Instead of using cygwin I should've been using mingw-64 bit. [LINK] I followed instructions in this yt video: [this video] Works fine.

So, I am going to give you the full proof solution for this similar error which also comes when someone tries to use the STL header file which is #include<bits/stdc++.h> So, this error is occurring because you are currently using the GCC version 8.2.0 which is the default on the MinGW website. To solve this problem you need to update to GCC 10.2.0 Following are the steps you need to follow:- 1.) Download and install the Msys2 from [LINK] 2.) Run or launch this and type pacman -Syu and hit enter then it will ask you to continue by typing Y/N just type enter without pressing Y/n. 3.) Close this and again launch msys2 at least run this command 2-3 times until it shows nothing to do with or noth

@drescherjm and HolyBlackCat thank you so much for pointing me towards msys. So far I have gcc set up in msys after following this [this video] youtube video. I also have followed the instructions for placing the Triangle source code in the third party folder as mentioned in the readme. However, I am now stuck on the proper way to install sdl library v. 2.0, is this something I would do through msys? Thank you so much for the help, I am very greatful. P.S I agree that this is definetly going to be more than I can chew with my current knowledge
