Possible Duplicate: How to find web hosting that meets my requirements? [LINK] Actually I did find a solid company in Poland, where I live, but the problem is I will need USA-based server IP because google gives SEO bonus based on server location and I expect most of the visitors to come from the USA. The webpage in question will be tiny and niche so I don't want to overpay. Also, is there any reliable way of making sure I will get a USA-based host? For instance I just looked at godaddy.com and they say their servers are in Europe - probably they think that's what I want :). Matt Cutts covers this in two videos: What impact does server location have on rankings? [LINK] Can the geographic location of a web server affect SEO? [this video] Basically, it does affect your rankings, but primarily for personalized search results.

Actually, the server's IP _does_ have a geotargeting effect, as confirmed by Matt Cutts from Google here [this video] however as John Mueller, another Google employee, stated more recently, it's a relatively minor factor.

If you've set target as India in your search console account, then you're good to go [LINK] . I know matt cutts said [this video] it will affect, but he said in 2009, which is not same as today. Google slightly lower the value if they have something better to measure. And search console data is perfect for that.
