Pretty solid that Stuart responded. Great stuff man. But After watch a few of your videos from the N+1 series you created what I figured out I needed to do was a DelayBinding. So for anyone else stuck check out N+28 for iOS [this video] Example. My child ViewModel this.DelayBind(() => { MvxFluentBindingDescriptionSet<SomeView, SomeViewModel> set = this.CreateBindingSet<SomeView, SomeViewModel>(); set.Bind(SubmitButton).To(v => v.NextCommand); set.Apply(); }); My parent ViewModel MvxFluentBindingDescriptionSet<ViewController, ViewControllerViewModel> set = this.CreateBindingSet<ViewController, ViewControllerViewModel>(); set.Bind(SomePage).For(p => p.DataContext).To(v => v.SomeViewModel);

The binding is only added for TextEdit and not for EditText. See the implementation here: [LINK] You could add a custom binding as explained in: [this video] [LINK] MvvmCross UITextField custom binding [LINK]

I am creating an application using Xamarin.Android with MVVMCross. In Windows Phone I use this simple user control: <Grid> <Grid.ColumnDefinitions> <ColumnDefinition Width="1*"/> <ColumnDefinition Width="4*"/> <ColumnDefinition Width="1*"/> </Grid.ColumnDefinitions> <Image Source="{Binding Image1}"/> <TextBlock Grid.Column="1" Text="{Binding Title}"> <Image Grid.Column="1" Source="{Binding Image2}"/> </Grid> In the code behind is some logic and a dependency property. I used this component in many places of my application.Image1, Image2, Title - dependency property. Is it possible to implement user controls in Xamarin.Android? Or in Android by some other method? An example of what I need: 1.
