What it is
A roughly 30 minute Blender 2.8 tutorial from CGRogue on building fully customisable procedural eyes in EEVEE using shader nodes. It walks through gradient, Voronoi and color ramp setups for the iris and sclera, and the finished result is offered as a download.

Every time I try to center the light in the middle of the eye like in the tutorial, it doesn't work and ends up centering around where I put the mark seam. It's supposed to look like this: [LINK] But turns out like this: [LINK] If anyone knows what's wrong and can help me I'd really appreciate it. Thanks, tutorial's linked below if that helps. Ok so i'm having a little bit of a problem with procedural eyes here you can see them normally [LINK] but notice that one eye has more red than the other eye so i tried do fix by separating the meshes [LINK] and i got this so then i wanted to fix the other that has more red but when i separated the eyes into a single object [LINK] now they have the same red so i was a little confused so i joined the eyes again but they reverted back to the one eye that has more red than the other How can i fix this ? All answers are welcome Umm this is the video i watched for the eyes if anyone want to know [this video] oh i'm using eevee for rendering almost forgot

so I was following a tutorial on making detailed eyes, I don't know why but as I was making the shader, it's colouring the eye grey even though the gradient is clearly set to white? Here's a picture of my shader, [LINK] As you can see, it's set to white, but even if I drag the gradient to fully white, it still looks a light grey... Any help would be appreciated, thanks! Edit: For reference, here is the tutorial I was following, [this video] You can see even though it appears my settings are the exact same, his is a consistent white in the middle, whereas mine is a dark grey...

I followed a tutorial ( [this video] ) on youtube for the procedural eyes of my sculpture. I used nodes to make them. When I render my sculpture, the colour of the iris doesn't show. However, when I render the eyes in the same file but outside of the head, the colour shows. I think it has something to do with the sclera and the way the light hits the eye. Maybe someone can help me with this problem. [LINK] [LINK]

I'm trying to follow this tutorial: [this video] this is his output: [LINK] this is mine: [LINK] He only ever shows bits of his node editor at a time so I couldn't get a full pic of his. His version is older than mine (2.8 vs. 4.0) so some nodes are different, and my output is in no way the same. I have the Voronoi texture but for some reason the radial gradient doesn't apply after the Voronoi. Like. It won't make the “spiral” I guess. I just want to know how to replicate his effect with my version.
