Im having a problem with this bedroom scene I have setup where the scene is extremely dark and Im not sure what to do about it. It looks extremely gloomy compared to the video im following along with. If someone could take a look at it, it would be greatly appreciated. A link to the video im following and the file are below. I am trying to re-create this scene from a youtube tutorial [this video] . There are two cubes in the scene (the bed and mattress). The cloth is supposed to fall on the mattress but it falls through it on the second cube (the bed). Can someone explain what I am doing wrong? The file can be accessed at this link ( [LINK] ) Also, the cloth also acts strange when I run the animation. I'd appreciate if someone can help me resolve the issue.
Cites Damn Vegetables · 2020-01 · Blender Stack Exchange · on “Why does this cloth go down past the top surface of the cube?”
I was following a tutorial on YouTube [this video] , and the presenter said that he did not change the default options other than enabling self-collision and increasing the collision object's friction from 5 to 10. His looks like the first image below, but when I tried that, the cloth goes down past the top surface and stops at the bottom surface (second and third images below). Why is it so? I had a previous problem with cloth, and it was due to the objects' small size. This time, I made sure that both the cloth and the cube are large enough. (Cloth=7.68*8.22*1.99m, cube = 7.68*7.68*0.897m) The project file can be downloaded from here [LINK] . [LINK] [LINK] [LINK]

I was following this tutorial Create a Modern Bedroom in Blender in 35 Minutes [this video] . And all was going great until at some point he did something behind scenes and his looks good and mine looks like in the picture below. No matter what color I put on my shader for pillows, curtains or other objects, it still shows up as silverish. The first picture is my render and the second picture is how it is supposed to look. Can anyone direct me to where the issue would be? I played with all settings I knew in Blender and can't figure this out. Is this a lighting or shader, or HDRI problem? Even a wild guess will help. Thanks! [LINK] [LINK]
