You just have to install IIS on your PC and use it as a web server. Your site will be available by IP or domain name ( how-to [LINK] or [this video] ). Also you can use dynamic IP and domain name with Dynamic DNS service like dyn.com

The title is purposely generic as I have no clue to formulate my question in any different way. I have made an MVC 5 project using .NET 4.7. My goal is to use IIS 10 to point to a domain so I can use that as a testing ground. I have already edited my host-file to point my localhost ip to the domain I have in mind. After that I have followed every step mentioned in the video below meticulously. However I keep ending up on the 403.14 error page. I have adjusted security to no avail, checked the app-pool to use the correct .net version... I'm all out off ideas. If I choose configuration manager, their is not a release option in those settings either Where is the release setting?! I basically followed this: [this video] And to counter this error I edited the hosts file, following this answer: server DNS address could not be found - iis [LINK] 127.0.0.1 plataformafantasy.com 0.0.0.1 mssplus.mcafee.com (This was already in the fi

So I solved it like this: I created two projects WebApp1 and WebApp2 in the same Solution. Right Click on Solution Explorer--> Properties--->Select the radio button with Multiple Startup projects. Also make sure The Action of atleast one of the projects is set to Start only . The rest can be Start Without Debugging. To connect IIS to your web application say webapp1: Reference this video: [this video] Hope this helps anyone who is trying this out.
