What it is
A 15-minute Blender tutorial by Andrew Price (Blender Guru) that walks through building a modern kitchen scene for archviz. It covers rendering improvements, a tree optimization trick using transparent image planes, camera matching with fSpy, and making dirt with the ambient occlusion node.

The in-built glass texture is very noisy in nature. You should make your own node setup as shown in the following blender guru tutorial. [this video]

Note: This has nothing to do with physically based glass. Andrew Price reccomends this 'Glass Hack shader' specifically for archviz renders, where caustics aren't that important. Relevant part of video here [this video] Working principle It doesn't affect Shadow, Diffuse and Glossy rays in any way, but your camera still sees a reflection when looking at it. Pros: Very fast, low noise Cons: No refraction [LINK]

A few days ago, I watched this Video from "Blender Guru" on Youtube (i´ts about the modern kitchen): [this video] There he showed a trick how to reduce render times, by adding transparent images instead of real trees as trees to the scene. My Question: How did he make their backgroud fully transparent? Always when I import Transparent Images(the background is transparent) i`ts only "half transparent" [LINK] It also does not change, when I switch between Material-Preview or Rendered Mode:((( As you can see in the Video which is linked above, Andrew has images where the background is completely transparent, but how does he do that? (I have exported the image of the tree myself, made sure that the o
