What it is
A 3.5-hour beginner course by Murtaza's Workshop on programming a DJI Tello drone with Python and OpenCV. It covers drone basics, setup, movement and image capture, then builds four projects: surveillance, face tracking and line following.

I currently am using a Tello drone with the same code. The difference is I use a video that interpolates contours into rectangles and tracks a model rocket launch. I think what you are looking for is the OpenCV code to understand the video frames. This youtube video uses the Tello video feed and OpenCV to calculate a countour box for a face: [this video] . import cv2 from tracker import * import math, time, numpy as np # global variables _w, _h = 0,0 pid = [.01,.01,0] pError = 0 cap = cv2.VideoCapture("rocketVideo.mp4") loop = True rocketPositionList = [] rocketPositionListArea = [] # initialize the known distance from the camera to the object, which # in this case is 24 inches KNOWN_DISTANCE = 4

a tello doesnt require an app. the app just sends commands to the drone. you can control the drone from python, javascript .. whatever you want (except for some). you can basically connect to the drone from your computer and send messages to it. an example is "takeoff" and "land", i dont know how you wanna do that but some ways are, as i already said, python or javascript. check this video for python, the easiest method: [this video]

this is the basic code for getting video stream from the tello: from djitellopy import tello import cv2 me = tello.Tello() #cap = cv2.VideoCapture(0) me.connect() print(me.get_battery()) me.streamon() while True: img = me.get_frame_read().frame img = cv2.resize(img, (360, 240)) cv2.imshow("results", img) cv2.waitKey(1) when doing that, you have to call 'tello.streamon()' and then in the loop you make that image variable: img = me.get_frame_read().frame i merged it with your code and this is the result: from threading import Thread from djitellopy import Tello import cv2, math, time import os tello = Tello() tello.connect()# tello.streamon() #print(tello.get_udp_video_address()) #print(type(t

I'm new into this and i want to control 2 Tello EDUs in swarm. I tried couple of things that worked for one not in swarm but crashed in swarm (i think I did something in bad way) and I can't figure out Video Stream in swarm. I would be thankful for help with it. I am using DJITelloPy library from GitHub [LINK] . Controlling for one drone I did from this [this video] . I also tried control in example of DJITelloPy but also doesn't work. from djitellopy import TelloSwarm import cv2 swarm = TelloSwarm.fromIps([ "10.0.0.125", "10.0.0.126" ]) swarm.connect() for tello in swarm: print(tello.get_battery()) swarm.streamon() while True: img = {} for tello in swarm: img[i] = tello.get_frame_read().frame fo

I continue getting this error. I've read that it means the images are not available. I've copied the path and used the proper directory. I've cloned the haarcascade_frontalface_default.xml directly from opencv Github. Not sure what I messed up on here. I'm following this tutorial for facetracking online: [this video] Any help appreciated! Here are the code and errors: Code: import cv2 import numpy as np def findFace(img): faceCascade = cv2.CascadeClassifier('Resources/haarcascade_frontalface_default.xml') imgGray = cv2.cvtColor(img, cv2.COLOR_BGR2GRAY) faces = faceCascade.detectMultiScale(imgGray,1.1,8) myFaceListC = [] myFaceListArea = [] for (x,y,w,h) in faces: cv2.rectangle(img,(x,y),(x + w, y
