Why Stack Overflow recommends it

Stack Overflow users link it when someone asks how to highlight or outline an object in Unity and a plain shader-graph or emission trick will not do.

Recommended by 3 people across 3 different months, 2017 to 2019.

What it is

A short Unity tutorial by Dan Game Dev that walks through building a glowing outline effect for objects using a shader, with downloadable assets and a GitHub-style project to drop into your own scene. It is presented as a shader case study rather than a general shader course.

It's Look like i find the better solution about this effect at a button grow. In this case we must use a shader. Read this link about shader : [LINK] Also this how to make it : [this video]

the effect that you're creating there is going to put an emission on faces that are a certain angle. it does not work to create an outline shader in the shader editor. here is a youtube tutorial to create the type of effect that you're trying to achieve [this video] [LINK]
