I can mention 2 main elements about 2d Dynamic Lighting for unity. One of the main asset used for 2d lighting in unity essentials is DDL light [LINK] , with an official tutorial here [LINK] . Most importantly Unity itself is working on a Dynamic lighting system, currently in beta (for 2019.2). Unity introduced the package Lightweight RP for 2d lights here [LINK] and there's a tutorial here [this video] .

You could use Unity's experimental 2D Renderer with 2D lights and the Shadow Caster 2D Component Here is a Brackeys video about 2D Renderer and 2D lights: [this video] The Documentation to the Shader Caster 2D Component: [LINK] You could also use this Asset without getting deep into the 2D Rendering. I found the answer to my problem, I got rid of all of the normal lights and downloaded the LightWeight RP from the package manager, then I created a 2D light, which is better for 2D, I also followed the tutorial here: [this video] :)

So I'm making a 2D game and want "realistic" lighting effects. I'm using the 2D lighting that comes with the LWRP Package i saw in this video: [this video] Now it looks like this: [LINK] But i want my objects to throw directional shadows, like this: [LINK] I am a beginner when it comes to shaders and stuff like that. Hope there is a not-too-complicated solution :)
