This are the steps to effectively connect a TFS (TFVC) Repository to your VS Code on Mac: INSTALL THE SOFTWARE Install Visual Studio Code for Mac (currently here: [LINK] ). Install the TFS extension for VS Code: Go to the Extensions tab in VS Code, Search for TFS and install. Install TEE-CLC. Follow this guide: [this video] . CREATE A LOCAL TFVC WORKSPACE IN YOUR MAC Now you need to have a local TFVC Workspace on your machine. If you don't have one (as it was my case), you need to create it. The following steps are partially extracted from [LINK] . Create a local folder where you are going to download and locally store the source code. Open a Terminal window. Create a local workspace from your te

If you use on-premises TFS, you must be running Team Foundation Server 2015 Update 2 or later. After installing Team Services extension and TEE CLC (see how to set it up by viewing this video [this video] ), you also need the following steps: Set the tfvc.location [LINK] VS Code setting to the full path of your TF command line client. Open a folder containing a Local TFVC Workspace and sign in when prompted. Refer to this site [LINK] . Set the SCM Provider to TFVC. Refer to this site [LINK] for more information. If you are unable to access the existing local workspace using TEE CLC, try the steps below: using the CLC, run the tf workspaces -collection:<collection-url> command, to help the CLC be

The reason why I'm using TEE CLC is because I'm trying to avoid downloading VS Community as I will be developing for work purposes. I was following this video Set up and Configure the TEE CLC on Linux [this video] but I got stuck after accepting the eula (2:43). When I enter the command: C:\...\TEE-CLC-14.0.3\tf.cmd workspaces -collection:http://[...]/tfs/DefaultCollection I got the error message: No workspace matching *;[my name] on computer [computer name] found in Team Foundation Server http://[...]/tfs/DefaultCollection. Since I was able to accept the eula , I believe I am mapping to the right folder? I read in similar questions that it's a mapping issue. Am I misunderstanding? Does anyone ha

Using Mac OS 10.13.6 and Visual Studio for Mac Community v7.5.4 Trying to connect to my company's TFS and access the files. I got stuck when it would not let me create a Workspace. I found this thread: Connect VS code with TFS on mac [LINK] It says to download from [LINK] a zip staring with TEE-CLC... which I did. In Terminal, when I try running the command at the 1:20 mark in this video [this video] nothing happens. I double click the tf command in my Finder window and a Terminal window opens showing "Saving session...copying shared history...saving history...[Process completed]". Again, nothing happens. I think I'm the only person at my company who is trying to use VS for Mac. Any thoughts?? I'
