I have been watching tutorials and looking/researching and I can't find anywhere how to create an array of image urls. I am trying to use the framework SDWebImage [LINK] . All the tutorials that I have been looking at do exactly what I need my app to do, but with a TableView not a normal ViewController [LINK] . I also would like to have it where you push a button and then it will randomly call one of the images. The urls are from the images stored in Firebase Storage. This framework (SDWebImage) is really what I want to use because it does exactly what I want to do and makes it really quick and easy. The tutorial [this video] that was closest to what I am doing is except for Jared has his in a Ta

Before starting the answer, I hope you have a custom cell defined by inheriting from UITableViewCell which includes an UIImageView. If not, you should do it first [LINK] . SDWebImage [LINK] is the most popular library for this kind of work. If you could use third-party library go ahead with it and use it. Here is a sample code for a Cell where you would display an ImageView over the network. override func tableView(_ tableView: UITableView, cellForRowAt indexPath: IndexPath) -> UITableViewCell { let cell = tableView.dequeueReusableCell(withIdentifier: cellId, for: indexPath) as! DeliveryCell //make url from the string by extrating the url from Core Data entity let imageUrl = URL(string: imag

You should be able to fetch images from Firebase with URLs, and using SDWebImage it will enable your app to have very fast loading and scrolling times as the images are only loaded once. An excellent tutorial for this can be found here: [this video] (He teaches it with Firebase Storage)

Can you even set this up to have it pick a new/random image from an array of urls? Becuase I have searched everywhere and can not find anything. The only place where I saw an array of urls is in Jared's video because each link was for a different cell in a TableViewController. [this video]
