I haven't. I originally followed this youtube tutorial to learn how to get firebase and expo set up together: [this video] . But that video uses the previous version of expo, so you need to use a different bundle identifier as described in the documentation of the expo SDK 48 update. That in combination with my code sample would in theory be sufficient enough to get a sample working. I should probably write a medium article or do a youtube tutorial or something showing the process end-to-end though, cause there are a lot of places where you could go wrong.

I am following this YouTube tutorial [this video] and at the 20 minute mark he imports Tailwind as tw then proceeds to use it in app.js I have done the exact same thing yet I am getting the error "TypeError: (0, _tailwindRn.tw) is not a function. (In '(0, _tailwindRn.tw)("justify-center items-center")', '(0, _tailwindRn.tw)' is undefined)" screenshot [LINK] my code: import { StatusBar } from 'expo-status-bar'; import { StyleSheet, Text, View } from 'react-native'; import {tw} from 'tailwind-rn'; export default function App() { return ( <View style={tw("justify-center items-center")}> <Text>Open up App.js to start working on your app!</Text> <StatusBar style="auto" /> </View> ); } const styles = S

I have been following the tinder 2.0 react native tutorial [this video] At 1:04:00 he sets the sign in method to: "await Google.logInAsync()" but I have noticed the google app auth library used in the video is now deprecated, I am redirected to use expo auth session instead but I notice there is a slight difference, where they used "await Google.logInAsync()" I must put "promptAsync" instead, when I do this I get the error promptAsync is undefined, I try with google.loginasync and get the same error that it is still undefined, what should I do? screenshot [LINK] code: import React, { createContext, useContext } from 'react' //import * as Google from 'expo-auth-session/providers/google'; import *

I just got into mobile development. I am in the process of following this tutorial " [this video] " to create my first app. But I have a problem when installing tailwind-rn (at the 23rd minute), I followed everything as in the tutorial but my app tells me that "tw is not a function", after several research I understood that my installation of tailwind was perhaps not the good one and that it is necessary to use tailwind 3.0.1 because it is a stable version and is fonctionnal for this. My first question is: do you think this is the solution? My second question: What is the command line to install a specific version of tailwind-rn?

I'm trying to follow an old tutorial that uses the deprecated expo-auth-google sign in method. I know expo-auth-session is the newer version but I'm getting this error in my application when I try to use it: ValidationError: "redirect_uri" is not allowed. "client_id" is not allowed. "response_type" is not allowed. "state" is not allowed. "scope" is not allowed I have everything set up on GCP and Firebase. Here's my code, and the error I'm getting. Could you please help me? PS: I have the keys in the code, I just didn't want to post them here. The tutorial I followed: [this video] image description here]( [LINK] ) import React, { createContext, useContext, useMemo, useEffect, useState, } from "rea
