Why Blender Stack Exchange recommends it
Blender Stack Exchange users link it as a worked example of rigid body destruction, and many askers cite it as the project they were following when they hit render or version problems.

What it is
A 72-minute Blender tutorial by Andrew Price of Blender Guru that builds a bullet smashing through a pane of glass. It covers the Fracture tools, rigid body simulation, constraints, particles and the smoke simulator, ending in a rendered animation.

This depends on what it is you are wanting to do. From your question I get the impression you want to do rigid body phyiscs. Collision is meant for particles, soft bodies and cloth simulations. To give an object collision properties select it and then click the physics tab inside the properties window, the tab looks like a bouncing ball. Then click collisions. That object now has collisions. If you wanted rigid objects to do physics simulations, then the physics button under the physics tab is what you want. A specific answerable question is needed for additional information. Here is a good tutorial from BlenderGuru that gives a similar type problem. [this video] Main difference is you could just

It can be done with separate scenes within the blend file. Andrew Price does the trick in order to render with different compute devices in this tutorial: [this video]

I am a newbie in Blender. This is my second project. I thought of trying out Andrew Price's famous glass shatter tutorial [this video] from BlenderGuru. At this stage I thought of rendering and seeing how my images look. However, the material look was not very good. Firstly, the shattered glass pieces look nothing like in the video. Second, the glass shard particles seem to have too much grain (is that same as fireflies) and don't even look similar to what the video has. I tried increasing compression factor and increasing samples, but neither helped much. I have been using the usual glass BSDF shader. I am not sure what I am doing wrong. How do I get image quality without grains like in the vide

I cannot get rid of noise/fireflies in my glass shattering scene, rendering with cycles. I've tried all of the following suggestions: Increasing Samples (up to 4000, still tons of noise) Filter Glossy (from .5 to 20, still no fix) Increasing Clamp (to 5) Increasing light source (emissions doubled, still tons of noise) Denoising (from .25 to 1, it works but makes the image too blurry) Caustics (turned off and on, makes no difference) Light Path Bounce min/max equal (both set to 8, that helped but did not fix) Multiple Importance Sampling (turned on for all tests) Is it possible I really need to go up to 10k samples? Or, maybe there is something wrong with my glass texture, which is just "Glas

So I'm fairly new to Blender and decided to try out Blender Guru's tutorials. I got to the Glass Smash project ( [this video] ) and was able to follow along pretty well. Everything seemed to work until the final rendered animation where I came upon an issue that I don't even know where to begin solving. The bullet leaves behind a weird trail as it moves. I don't know why this happens, or how to fix it. My best guess is it has something to do with the motion blur, but that's basically an educated guess from a newbie like me. Any help is appreciated. I am new in blender. Now I watch tutorials and try to make it. Have problem with making this tutorial [this video] (He create a glass and destroy it with the bullet). To complete it I have to use the "Bullet Constraints Tools" (I need to tie the meshes so that they look like one object), but I can't find this or any kind like for Blender ver. 2.8. Here what I find: Bullet Constraints Tools, Bullet Constraints Builder. [LINK] Can I complete this tutorial without this tool, or there is another tool I can use that support Blender 2.8.
