What it is
A 17-minute Blender tutorial by MK Graphics on combining and editing Mixamo animations using the Non-Linear Animation (NLA) editor. It covers importing the FBX clips, stitching them together, fixing the character snapping back to the origin, blending actions for smooth transitions, and holding a ball with a Child Of constraint before rendering.

There are lots of YT videos online about combining Mixamo animations in Blender. A quick search shows this [this video] , this [LINK] and this [LINK] although some may not be for the very latest Blender versions. CGDive has done a series of tutorials here [LINK] .

You should do everything in one Blender file using the NLA editor rather than using 3 seperate .blend files. This is not a tutorial site but there are quite a few tutorials online, most using Mixamo FBX animations. Try this [this video] one for instance.

I'm following this tutorial, just for reference. Any help is greatly appreciated!! [this video] I noticed that the armature where I'm putting these actions is called "Hips". This might be the reason.
