I am trying to attach Open Street Map(OSM) road data to a mesh of the terrain generated using Google Maps + RenderDoc, in order to create 1 single mesh eventually. I have generated the OSM road data using the method outlined here [this video] , except in the video the guy generates buildings and terrain rather than roads. Basically, I used MapsModelImporter and created a bunch of roads, paths and highways, in the from of curves. The roads currently have no regard for elevation(all completely flat). I have then generated the Google Maps 3D Data using the method outlined here [LINK] . I "cleaned up" the mesh using the follow up method outlined here [LINK] . Basically, I used RenderDoc and Google Ma

The process described in this video [this video] is a bit complicated, but I think the results are worth it. It uses an addon called Blender-OSM, which automates a lot of the buildings for you, but you do have to sign up for a free account with Mapbox. (to get access the map data)

Im following tutorial about building a city and when I get to this part [this video] where you should use Project From View to get buildings roof top texture from satellite map my projection is aways off, no matter how I scale it. You can download the file here. [LINK] After closer inspection it seems like its adding slight perspective to the projection. This isn't very visible with few smaller object but since I have many buildings it starts to add up and it quickly goes completely off. Does anyone know how to solve this? Thanks Im using Blender 8.2a, 2013 MBPr 15" Intel i7

Then I dont know... Here is the link to the blender file: including the walls its no big thing I want to do .. just put the texture onto the wall.
