Why Blender Stack Exchange recommends it
Blender Stack Exchange users link it as the base setup for particle-filled liquid simulations, and cite it when asking or answering questions about fluid sims in closed containers.

What it is
A 20-minute Blender tutorial by Blender Made Easy that builds a satisfying animation of fluid particles inside a sphere. It covers fluid inside collisions, particle systems and a simple material, using Blender's Mantaflow fluid simulation.

Is it possible to randomly rotate object particles in a fluid (liquid)? I'm trying to simulate the effect of a glittery snow globe via a fairly low density fluid. The problem I'm having is that all particles are staying in one orientation with no natural rotation. [LINK] This tutorial is what I was using as a basis for my particle setup: [this video] I note though that the fluid particles in the example are so small, numerous and spherical that rotation doesn't appear to matter. As such, the tutorial doesn't mention it. For my needs, I want each particle to slowly rotate in random directions. I have rotation enabled on my turbulence effector (only on for a few frames to kick things off). I also t

I am going to try this myself tomorrow, but I'll try [this video] . Basically inverting your normals to inside (as fas as I can tell the normal of your drum in inverted, but solidified or something because your inside is inverted too.) (edit mode-> face select-> all-> ⇧ Shift + N -> maybe inside, maybe not; you want the inside to be blue); then make a hole at the top and step up the domain resolution. Then close the hole again. I‘d recommend watching the video, just to clarify, and maybe make it more obvious what I mean

[LINK] [LINK] Hey guys, I am currently following this tutorial: [this video] For some reason, even though I have a gaming pc (specs below), my render is taking too damn long for some reason and is stuck at updating lights, I don't know much about fluids but even normal renders don't take this long to appear on the render screen.. Is there any setting I've missed or a more efficient way of making fluid animations render faster?
