What it is

A one-hour Blender tutorial by Dikko, part of a character rigging series, that builds the core rig components step by step: FK chains, IK, bendy bones and spline IK. It ends by combining bendy bones with FK and IK setups.

I would try bendy bones or spline bones ( [this video] ). BB only work in Blender. When you want to export them you have to convert them into a rig with normal bones.

I,m trying to make some similar stuff creating bones in the character armature. When yo create your new bones you can later delete the influence of them in the armature, removing some vertex groups, and you should do the same thing for the body bones influences on the cape. I rather recomend to make some FK deformation bones for the cape, and then duplicate and deselect the deformation option to prepare and IK system. If you don,t now about this cuestions i recomend you this videotutorial. enter link description here [this video]

Oh I see. I assume it's something like the last example in this tutorial [this video] An Spline IK arm. Can it work with an IK/FK switch setup? Or you have to commit to one setup (FK/IK/Stretch/SplineIK)?
