Why Blender Stack Exchange recommends it

Blender Stack Exchange users link it when someone needs to curve or wrap an object around another surface and a lattice (often combined with Shrink Wrap) is the suggested approach.

What it is

A short Blender tutorial from the 3Dnot2D channel showing how to bend and deform objects using the Lattice modifier. It walks through setting up a lattice around an object and shaping it, with a finished .blend file offered on Patreon.

Have you tried applying a *lattice* to the desired object to be curved and applying the *lattice* with a *shrink wrap* modifier to the curved object? [this video]

Greetings . I'm a blender beginner, which means I have no idea what I am doing, so please excuse my probably silly question. My Goal: I want to wrap some muscle objects around a face model. However, the muscles were not specifically designed to fit my face model, and I'm struggling to get them to align properly without losing their intended shape. [LINK] What i've tried: Adding a shrink wrap modifier to the muscles : I tried with different wrap methods but all of them deform the muscles Adding a lattice Modifier I followed this tutorial [this video] , but the method seems to only work for objects with flat surfaces. Sculpting the muscles objects to fit the face : This method is painfully slow, an

My goal is instead of “floating” rigid stars, they should follow the robe’s curvature (wrap/bend) while keeping their thickness and volume. I don't want Flattening (like Shrink-wrap to faces does), having to Manually lattices [this video] per star or a fake look where the star just sits rigidly. [LINK] My Attempts have been the use of geometry nodes [LINK] which only have a week worth of knowledge for GN so i apologize for the lack of context, I've learn to scatter the stars across a robe with their orientation following the robe. Finally got here and its okay honestly but i just want that bend for some stars as for example at the cuffs of the robe sleeves. The stars point out instead of curving
