I'm learning the basics of texturing, and I was trying to add textures to a character I made following this video [this video] . To make it short, I baked the shadows to have the Ambient occlusion, exported them in an image, opened it with GIMP, overlapped the UV grid I exported in another image to it, and colored only that layer. Then I exported it all in the "final texture image", and opened it in Blender. There's two major things that bug me: the first one is that no matter the color I use to paint the upper level , it always seems too "weak" if compared to the other layer, and the overall effect looks way too dull, as you can see in pic. I used the color you can see in the "grid" that's on th

I feel like this has a simple as hell solution. Trying to follow this tutorial [this video] on YouTube, and, as badly textured as my character may be, I finished it. But... Why are my edges showing when I render the character? [LINK]

Whenever I try to bake my character model with an ambient occlusion, I don't get the shading effect that I want (take a look at this video [this video] ). So can someone help me achieve this effect with the ambient occlusion? Here's are pictures, am I doing anything wrong? [LINK] [LINK]

Cites Biking · 2019-09 · Blender Stack Exchange · on “Texture baking: some part of my object is always black after baking”
I'm a newbie in blender, currently I'm using blender 2.8 to make a character. I followed this tutorial on youtube: [this video] The problem is that when I performed Bake as the tut, my character hair and helmet are always black. You can prefer the image. Before this, I separated the helmet and hair to other object and merged them with the body later so I suspect this may be the reason but I don't know how to fix it. Could you help me with this? Thanks. [LINK] [LINK]

When I bake my object using a blank image texture, dark patches appear in the middle of the torso and legs region after baking with bake type: ambient occlusion. This question is similar to this one : Ambient Occlusion Bake Too Dark On Some Meshes on Blender 2.8 [LINK] but I followed the accepted answer i.e. flipped all the normals but still the Baking is not correct. screenshots below: I'm using Blender version: 2.92.0 CPU device capabilities: SSE2 SSE3 SSE41 AVX AVX2 OpenCL device capabilities: No OpenCL platforms found CUDA device capabilities: No CUDA device found I think the issue is that my UV wrapping is too crowded? I'm new to Blender and am following this [this video] . In the video they
